North Valley Nut takes responsibility for continually improving practices and actions, in order to maintain high standards in ethical conduct and support all employees with dignity and respect. On January 1, 2012, the California Transparency in Supply Chain Act of 2010 (SB 657) went into effect in the State of California. The Act affects qualifying retailers and manufacturers to combat the use of slave labor or human trafficking in the Supply Chain. The obligations under the Act extend to qualifying businesses whether based inside or outside of California.

All vendors, suppliers or affiliates found violating the fair labor code of practices will be reported and declared by immediately taking or initiating proper corrective action.
We want to assure our customers that we treat all employees (both regular and temporary workers) fairly and within the limits prescribed by all applicable laws preventing the employment or benefit from child or forced labor. As a supplier we acknowledge and certify we are in compliance and fully support this act.
